Circle Challenge

If my stamping history is any indication, I love dots and circles. :) So the circle/dot challenge over at Two Peas (aka: "The Bucket") is right up my alley. ;)

This card gave me numerous fits. LOL I knew I wanted to make the card base a circle, and coming up with an eye-pleasing design within such a perfect, symetrical canvas gave me a headache. LOL I went through about 4 different designs - some, the ink just kept smearing (even AFTER heat-setting...WEIRD) and some, I just couldn't get to look right. Finally, I just gave up and decided on this one (click to see larger):

I like it, but I don't LOVE it, KWIM? Maybe it's difficult for me to really love something that initially caused me SO MUCH frustration. LOL ;) I'll still post it over at the bucket, but I plan on making a few more cards to enter into the challenge that have a bit more stamping to them, since this one really doesn't have that much.

It felt good to do something to get my mind off of tomorrow, though. :) Thanks for checking in today and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
