Back in the swing and a post to / from Debbie Gimbel!

Well, things are just about back to normal around here. :) I've recovered, the kids are doing great, we're all back on schedule, and I've even had some time to play. Unfortunately I can't share my most recent creations because they're for a couple of people who occasionally read this blog, and I wouldn't want to ruin the surprise by posting pictures of what I made before the recipients have even had a chance to see them yet. ;) So... if you read this blog and I have your address, be sure to keep an eye on your mailbox! (I've already scanned them, so once they've been received, I'll be glad to share them here. ;))

I've added several new blogs that I really enjoy visiting over in my sidebar, for anyone who's as addicted to blog surfing as I am. ;) There's a pretty good mix of Two Peas members as well as SplitCoast members on that list. So if you see a name that you're not familiar with over there, be sure to go and check 'em out! The amount of talent and inspiration out there is just amazing to me! There's sure to be something for everyone. ;)

By the way... I also wanted to say thank you to each and every person that stops by and comments on my blog. :) I know I'm certainly not the most interesting, talented, or frequent blogger out there, LOL so it really means a lot to me that people think enough to continue checking in as well as graciously commenting. And a big thank you to the one and only Debbie Gimbel (artist extraordinaire and pioneer of the famous Magic Colored Pencil Technique of which I am so fond) for also stopping by! (You can see her comment here.) How she found my site, I have NO idea. LOL Maybe it's because I have two of her tutorials linked over in my sidebar. Regardless, I was surprised to and completely flattered that she would leave a comment! :) She offered to send me more tutorials, but unfortunately, did not leave any contact information for me to get ahold of her. So, Debbie... if that was really you, thank you for peeking in on my humble little blog and for saying hello!
