Pink, and a happy heart

This week's challenge over at The Hero Arts Club Blog is to create PINK cards of encouragement for Gilda's Club... a wonderful organization dedicated to the emotional and social support of those living with cancer and their families. Of course it was a no-brainer that I'd participate, because in case you can't tell, I love PINK! ;) LOL
Even more, I love the cause. :)

Here's my first submission (click to see larger). I really hope to send in as many cards as I can! I apologize that the photo is dark... we're quite overcast today. Anyway, the card is your basic layout - simple, tried and true, adaptable for any occasion. :) The main flower image is an older Hero Arts stamp, but one of my faves. I colored it with my SU markers and if it looks a little sloppy, then great! It was my intention to get that splotchy, almost watercolored look. A little ribbon (yay - back to the ribbon LOL) and some bling, and it's ready to go. I hope it makes the recipient smile. :)

Thanks for stopping by today, and if you get a chance, check out the
Hero Arts Club Blog and join in! It's such a worthwhile cause, and who deosn't love PINK?! ;) Have a wonderful weekend. :)

SUPPLIES
Paper - Stampin' Up! Whisper White, Basic Black, Pixie Pink, Green Galore
Stamps - all Hero Arts
Ink - Memories black, Stampin' Up! Pink Passion

Misc - Stampin' Up! markers (Pretty In Pink, Pixie Pink, Pink Passion, Gable Green, Green Galore, Glorious Green), Perfect Layers, Swarovski crystals, Making Memories ribbon, and pop dots

This is beautiful as can be, Lis! I love every single thing about it! The coloring on it is so vidid and "perfectly splotchy"...;)...fantastic look!

You know what I love? I love the little sparklies you add to most of your cards. You have *such* an eye for this, my friend. You have yet to share a card that doesn't make me say "wow!!" =)
