Yes, this card is indeed as vibrant in person as it looks on your monitor. LOL In fact, I was quite pleased with how the photo came out... no color distortion at all, so no need for editing! ;) To be honest, I think this card came out really pretty. It totally reminds me of a sunset (click to see larger):
I do not own a single spectrum pad, so the blending was done by hand with sponges. I used Vivid brand inks. I love them because the colors truly are what their name suggests - VIVID! The ink itself is great, too, because it stays wet just a tad longer than traditional dyes, giving you plenty of work time. Here, I sponged the different colors on from darkest to lightest, working in circles, blending each color into the next. It's true that you'll get a much more gradual, blended look with a spectrum pad and a brayer, but if you don't own one or the other (or either), this method will work just as well. ;)
