Besides... it's now Monday, and who couldn't use a little pick-me-up on a Monday? ;)
I know the offerings are slim, but I really am grateful for the blessings that have been bestowed upon me lately, and just want to say "Thanks", in whatever way possible. :)
I have a bunch of these Stampin' Up! Simply Scrappin' kits from Sale-A-Bration '07, I believe...? (Angela, feel free to correct me! LOL) It truly is a FABULOUS kit - thus why I have extras! LOL
- Two 12x12 sheets of Bashful Blue card stock
- Two 12x12 sheets of Certainly Celery card stock (my FAVORITE green of all time)
- One 12x12 sheet of So Saffron card stock
- Four sheets of gorgeous patterned paper (2 sheets each of two different patterns)
and
- Six 6x12 sheets of self-adhesive diecuts... embellies, borders, tags, the works!
Really, a beautiful kit... perfect for those springy, Easter cards and layouts! ;) Also included is this awesome DesignBlock stamp from Hero Arts (it wouldn't be a "celebratory give-away" without something from Hero)! You can see cards I've made with this stamp HERE and HERE. It is absolutely one of my favorite Hero stamps ever. Sooo many possibilities with it! (Don't worry - I'm not giving away MY stamp... this is an un-used extra that was sent to me.) I'm also going to include one more little surprise with the package - probably something fun like embellies or flowers or ribbon... but you'll have to wait for it to arrive to find out what it will be! Muahahaha... ;)
Anyway, just leave me a comment to this post telling me about your springy, Easter plans. Do you garden? Travel? What does spring time mean for you and your family? Only one comment per person, please. **COMMENTS ARE NOW CLOSED, THANK YOU.** And only comments posted by 10:00pm MST Wednesday, April 8, 2009, will be considered. Random.org will select the winner on the folllowing Thursday. Thanks for playing and I'm excited to hear what you have to say! :)
Thanks for stopping by today. More cards to see soon!

Hi, Lisa! What a generous giveaway! Springtime for us means getting outdoors more. We love to go for walks in the woods and just enjoy the fresh air. :-)
Wow, thanks for the chance at such a nice giveaway. I love spring! I love the temperatures warming and the flowers coming up and starting to bloom. I have some bulbs to get into the ground, and I will be having brunch with my family after worshipping at church in the morning! Thanks again, be blessed.
Springtime means beautiful blooms and
fresh air. We hope to start a vegetable garden this year. Thanks for a chance to win. I am especially
happy to see you back on your blog.
Congrats on being a HA hostess.
Count me in! We are staying home for easter and I will finally take the covers off my mini roses! I also hope to have some stamping time! Congrats!
Spring time means no more SNOW!!!
Finally the weather is warmer (except for today) and we have more time to spend outdoors.
Thanks for the chance to win!
Oh, this stamp is gorgeous :-)) Wish I had one :-)))
Spring means happyness for me - there would be a lot of vegetables and fruits, weather get warmer, so we can spend a lot of time outside :-)
We'll go to my Mom's in Easter Holiday :-)) Finally She can play with his Grandson a lot :-)))
Happy Eastretime to You too!!
Thanks for a lovely giveaway! My 4-year old son and I were planning what veggies to plant this year, so when we start digging it will truly feel like spring has finally arrived. I will probably make some tiny Easter baskets for him and his little brother for the weekend too, packed with a few chocolates and a new toothbrush - he has a thing for toothbrushes! :-)
I'm hosting an Easter dinner for 10 this year. The guest of honor will be my 2 month old grand nephew. I'm so excited that there will be four generations sitting around the dinner table. Have a wonderful holiday!
My father recently passed away and my mom lives in a nursing home in town. I'm going to get her for church on Sunday morning and then we're having Easter lunch at my house. It will be so good for her to get away and be in our home.
I like to start spending more time outside with my son. He loves all of the flowers that pop up every year and he has a new bike to ride. I am waiting for the ground to dry up a little bit before getting his bike out though
Spring for us means putting out our tiny garden (we only have a 4x6 space), but we love doing that, and tending for my flowers, irises and other native wildflowers....now if it would only just be SPRING! (somehow, it keeps snowing---the lettuce I have sprouted is needing it to stop that!)
Not many plans here but hope to have some family for dinner on Sunday and an egg hunt for the grandchildren sometime. Linda Gerig
Church is the first place to go every Easter.. and of course a little bit shopping or just window shopping.. and watch some new movies will brighten my day. Thank you for your generousity for wonderful giveaways.. ;)
My son celebrates his fifth birthday during the Easter weekend, so we will be celebrating it as well as spending some time with family and friends.
I am looking forward to working in my garden and having a big Family celebration next Sunday, Egg Hunt and all. Thanks for a chance to win. Jill S
What a great giveaway - thanks for the opportunity! The main event for our family this year will be dinner at my in-laws. My MIL is an amazing cook, and it's always nice to get everyone together for a few hours. If the weather is nice, I'll also be out and about with my camera, trying to capture some of this springy goodness.
"Slim offering"!!! Hello!!! This is awesome!! Love that stamp and I remember the cards you made were so pretty!
This spring, my son graduates from HS so we are planning to get the yard looking really good for a graduation party :) Hoping it won't that day even though it will be May, you never know in Colorado :)
For me spring means lots of pictures of pretty flowers and rain boots to jump in the mud puddles...who says you cant act five when your twenty?:)
Hey Lisa! I would say that springtime here means that sanity returns...We plan on going to two dinners on Sunday for Easter, too!

Easter means family, and giving thanks. This year my family have volunteered at a Charity Easter Egg Hunt to raise money for the local hospital to purchase new equipment for the Special Care Nursery.
While the forecast is for rain, we're hoping to have a sunny Easter weekend so we can finish assembling our daughter's new playset. We're also having a family bbq for Easter (my hubby cooks the turkey on the bbq), so it would be nice to enjoy the backyard!
Thanks for the chance to win! I LOVE that DesginBlock - it's adorable!
Spring is birthday season for my family... both of my sisters and myself, so we'll be making a point to talk on the phone more often (we're spread by thousands of miles) AND it's birthdays for half a dozen cousins and significant others - so I'll be especially busy making cards.
What a great give a way, Lisa! I'll join... an Easter tradition for us is eating Monkey Bread for breakfast before church (my Mom started the tradition and it's such a yummy one I just had to continue it). ;) We also usally go over to my parents house for Easter dinner and will be doing so this year. :) Hope you have a Happy Easter!
Wonderful giveaway :) But as i have the stamp......it is one of my favorites too! so please offer to someone else ;) But no reason not to share my plans! LOL actually a very quiet weekend with my family..... Best wishes for Easter!
Happy Easter, it has a special meaning as I spent 3 months in the hospital and lost my leg to an infection , Im only out for 3 weeks. Im hoping to start making cards and your a inspiration on your blog. thanks sheri Eichar
How fun! I'm no great gardener, but I love gardens, so spring rewards my laziness with daffodils and grape hyacinth blooming all on their own with no help from me, and rose bushes coming back to life with fresh green leaves and promising buds - again, no help from me apart from a brutal cutting back in winter :)
