I first used the image to create a tone-on-tone background. I then used it as an accent by stamping it on white card stock with a golden-yellow ink and cutting it out. I used pink gems in the crown and then cut a tiny slit with my craft knife so the crown could "sit" on the letters of the sentiment. As for the color scheme... it's a little out of my comfort zone. ;) But the crown made me think think of trendy, which made me think of youthful, which brought me to my color combo. I'm thinking about sending this to my 16 year old niece... it seems like something she'd really like. :)

Hi, Lisa! I love "one stamp different ways" challenges. They always give me great ideas. I love how you used the crown stamp as a background element and a focal element. And I love how you used the flourish in your previous post, too. Thanks for sharing the inspiration! :-)
