more old cards - a set

Hello, again! Thank you so very much for your sweet comments on my last card... they truly mean so much to me. :) I'm back today with a few more cards that I forgot to post... this time, a colorful, springy group I made to send out to some long distance friends. :) Whether I need to make a lot of cards all at once or a gift set for just one person, I tend to make all the cards of the same design, and just change up the (ink/card stock) colors, based on the recipients' styles/preferences. Makes things go quickly and easily... and I'm all about the quick and easy! ;)

I LOVE this huge Hero Arts Engraved Daisy! It's gorgeous if you color it, gorgeous if you keep it monochromatic, it's just gorgeous! Here, I used it as a kind of sub-focal point, stamping in a light shade to compliment the card base color. The sentiment can then really pop, being placed on top of the flower and stamped in dramatic back ink. For these cards, each of the sentiments were a little bit different, depending on who was receiving each card, but they are all generally clean and graphic like the top one here... to keep with the clean and graphic look of the cards. A thin black mat ties it all together. :)

Hope you have a wonderful weekend! Can't believe it's less than a week now until Thanksgiving... that's just CRAZY! I am definitely thankful for many things, one of them being my stamping friends. :) You all warm my heart and make me smile, more than you could ever know. xoxo

SUPPLIES:
Hero Arts CG142 and CL342 stamps. Memories Black ink. SU! inks and card stock in Cool Caribbean, Regal Rose, and River Rock. Pop dots.
