..mmmm, yummy! ;) And here's my card... what do you think?
I wanted to somehow incorporate kraft card stock, to get that little bit of light brown in, but I'm not sure what happened! LOL Anyway, I was obviously inspired by the color scheme, the angular aspects to the candies (matted sentiment), the doily (used a punch on the edge of the brown mat) and the little nonpareils (used pearls). I love the sentiments from this Hero Arts set (CL491 - Made With Love) because they're big and bold and can stand alone as the focal point on a card. Fun!
So how's your spring so far? I'm absolutely loving the gorgeous weather, but for the first time in my life I'm dealing with HORRIBLE allergies... yuck. :( Can't wait until that passes, meanwhile, I'll be buying stock in Kleenex. ;)
See you again soon!

I remember that trigger, Lisa, and love your take on it. Love your new blog look, too!! Hope the allergies disappear soon!
Beautiful card Lisa! Love the pink and brown with the big sentiment. Sorry to hear about those pesky allergies!
Love your interpretation of the picture! Great card!
The card is lovely (seriously, the colors are fabulous!) but it's too close to lunch & that yummy at the top keeps distracting me. ;-)
Such a beautiful CAS card! Love the row of pearls under the sentiment.
