And now, on to the winner of my giveaway! I let random.org pick my winner, and that winner is...
SUE!!! Congratulations! :D I'll email you for your contact info. And thank you once again to everyone who left such wonderful suggestions... you gave me a lot of food for thought! :)
Now for today's A Card A Day In May card. Another new one, this time with a fabulous chevron stamp from Savvy:
There are so many chevron stamps out there these days, but a lot of them are large, like for backgrounds or edge-to-edge stamping, which is great! But I also like how this one is smaller... it already has that "masked" look, but without the work. ;) And how about those Mark Richards "Fluerettes"?! Adorable little silk flower stickers that come in such lovely colors and patterns. They're a kind of pricey embellishment at $4/pack of 4, but Hobby Lobby carries them now and they're much more economical when you can use a 40% off coupon! ;) This is my first time using them, and I think they work really well. The adhesive on the back is nice and strong. They're also made with a very thin material that lies almost totally flat for mailing (about the thickness of a pop dot), but still pops up when opened. Sooo cute!
Anyway, as you might've guessed, this was a VERY quick card. ;) Would make a great set - just change up the colors of either the chevron background or the flower!
Whew... lots of chatter from me today! See you tomorrow with another card. As always, thanks for reading! :)
