So go put on your thinkin' caps, and use a sentiment in a non-traditional way. For my project, I used my sentiment as a flower stem:
Stamping the sentiment so it reads up towards the flower rather than down and away keeps the focus on the main image, which was stamped with chalk inks and accented with colored pencils. I even accented parts of the "stem" with the colored pencils (click to see detail):
It's a great way to add even more interest to solid images by giving them more depth and dimension. :)
