This time, the theme is "anything goes" and we were asked to use Simon Says exclusive dies on our project. I chose to go with the the gorgeous Delicate Dahlia die:
Simon's dies are wonderful... made in the USA, and cut like buttah. ;) I cut two flowers out with the die - one from black card stock, and one from the pink strip. Then I pieced it back together on top of the white card stock for a fun multi-colored flower look. This actually went together much quicker than you would think! I know the design of this card is kinda unique... I was about half way through when I stepped away to go do something, and while I was away, I accidentally smashed my right hand while moving some furniture. OUCH. So when I came back to it, I wasn't able to finish the design, and had to just wrap it up as-is. LOL But, I like it. :) And my hand is doing better, nothing broken, anyway, so that's a plus. Ha! :)
Now it's your turn! Make your project (anything goes!), and if you have any Simon Says Stamp exclusive dies, we would LOVE to see them used, but it's not mandatory. :) Link up your project HERE by next Wednesday morning (Aug. 1st), 8am EST, and you could win a very generous gift voucher to shop at Simon Says Stamp!
And you can go HERE to see all of the custom dies that Simon has to offer... gorgeous ones! And please be sure to go HERE, to see all the gorgeous creations made by my fellow teamies. We each used a different die!
Thanks for reading... see you soon!

I love your card, what you did with the flower was so creative, and I love the boldness (word?) of the pink, black and white. I looked at the die with the link you provided, you are right - there could be a lot of different variations with this flower. I hope your hand is feeling better and thank you for your nice comment on my Flickr account. Thanks for sharing.

Super fabulous card Lisa!! Love how you made the flower! So pretty!!
hugs...
You ought to insure those crafty hands, because they are talented! Love the color combo here Lisa. ;)
Sooo, what you're sayin' is that if I can't decide if a card is done or not, I need to go smash my hand! That just may be the only way I can for sure end a card! LOL! I love your design, it didn't strike me as needing anything else! And that flower, all those tiny pieces falling out, but so worth it. I love the pink and black combo! Just gorgeous :)
Gorgeous card, Lisa! LOVE what you did with the floral die! Absolutely STUNNING!
Thank you so much for leaving me a comment Lisa. I know it must be so hard to get round up to 900 entries on SSS and comment on them. I forgot to put a link back to SSS challenge, but I've fixed that & updated my post. I love your blog by the way, so many wonderful projects to see. Michelle x
