simon says... get in shape!

Hi, friends! How are you? It seems like forever since the last time I uploaded a card, my week has been THAT crazy. It's only been seven days, but I can absolutely account for every single second of them. LOL Everyone has weeks like that sometimes, right? :)

Time for a new challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp challenge blog!

This week, the theme is "Get In Shape!" Shaped cards, that is. ;) Here's mine:

I used my Labels One Spellbinders to create a cute shaped card that still fits in a standard A2 envie. I thought the Flower Dot Pattern background cling from Hero Arts would compliment the Spellbinders shape nicely, so I stamped and embossed it with white EP. Then I smeared my Distress Inks on my craft mat, added a few spritzes of Perfect Pearls mist, and then wiped up the ink with my embossed piece. Such fun results with this technique. I also added some white Enamel Accents in places... great shimmer and shine in person on this one! :)
